Open type milk cooling tanks

Open type milk cooling tanks.

Our open type milk cooling tanks come in 13 different capacities, covering the whole range from 50lt to 2,500lt, which serve the needs of all dairy units & cheese dairies.

Common features are fast and steady cooling and maximum energy savings.

All our tanks are made in Greece by the Milkplan factory, from materials suitable for food and follow the European and American standards ISO5708 / EN13732 / 3A.

So cooling is done at the right time to avoid the growth of bacteria and increase the acidity (pH) of milk. The milk is stirred by a special shaft with fins and an electric gearbox of suitable speeds in order to achieve the correct homogenization of the fats and the uniform cooling of the whole volume of the milk without causing foaming. The careful design of the tanks ensures other beneficial advantages for the dairy unit such as space saving, simplicity in operation and ease of movement, installation, repair and maintenance.

Cooling mechanisms and their capacities have been studied to meet the needs of sheep and goat farms and small cow farms.

Milkplan tanks have proven their worth in thousands of livestock and dairy farms in over 81 countries.
